Hi Chris, the example in my blog post was of simple linear regression, and I advised that the algorithm should be used when the dependent variable Y has a linear relationship with the independent variable X. I'd like to know why that's incorrect.

Also, thanks for the advice. If you have blog posts or data science tutorials, I sure would love to read them to get educated :)
